Shared Parenting

Ohio courts generally prefer to utilize shared parenting plans to allocate the parental rights and responsibilities between the parties with respect to their children. These shared parenting plans detail how various aspects of the parenting of the children is to be handled in the future. However, these agreements need to be customized to the facts and circumstances of the case. In any child custody determination or modification action, the terms of the agreement can vary greatly depending on how you and your lawyer present these factors. The attorney you choose to represent you can have a lasting effect on your life and the lives of your children.

Brian Piper's extensive family law experience allows him to present creative resolutions to parenting controversies, and allows him to negotiate in your behalf from a position of knowledge of the law. Brian S. Piper is on your side and will fight for and defend your rights and your children's best interests in establishing a proper custody or parenting plan whether through negotiation, mediation, or at trial if needed. We focus on creating realistic, flexible plans which provide stability for children and provide as much quality parenting time as possible for each parent.
